Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo says that he used to support Arsenal "back in the day" but he no longers feels the connection with the Gunners as he currently supports reigning European champions Real Madrid.

In a conversation with a fan on X, the NBA star was asked which team he supports in football, to which he replied: "Back in the day Arsenal. Now probably Real Madrid."

A couple of years back, in an interview, Giannis had admitted that he supports Arsenal and idolised Thierry Henry growing up.
The former NBA MVP said: "I used to watch a lot of football when I was growing up. My dad was a football player and football was our life. I started playing basketball when I was 13. My favourite team used to be Arsenal and my favourite player used to be Thierry Henry. I am an Arsenal fan but I like PSG when Zlatan Ibrahimovic was here on the team. Deep down I am still an Arsenal fan."
