Calciomercato Web recently reported that Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario is keen on a San Siro exit in January and Fulham, Wolves, Southampton and Leicester City are amongst the Premier League clubs keen on pursuing his signature.
The 25-year-old spent a spell on loan with West Ham United last season and impressed during his brief stint as a Premier League player.
However, he has yet to feature at all for the Serie A club this season and must soon find pastures new if he is to prevent his career from stalling and stagnating.

The 40-cap Portugal international is a top class, versatile player who would be an asset to many English top flight sides. Newcastle, in particular, would benefit greatly from Mario’s quality. The Magpies would therefore be wise to make a move for the unsettled midfielder in January when they’d likely be able to prise him away from Inter for a cut price fee.
Newcastle fans certainly seem keen on the potential deal, with 91% voting in favour of launching a bid to bring Mario to St James’ Park in the winter transfer window. See the full results below.
