Christian Eriksen is currently at a crossroads in his Tottenham Hotspur career.
Even though he played a major part of their 2018/19 campaign, netting ten goals and providing 17 assists in a total of 51 games across all competitions and helping them reach the Champions League final, his form seemed to slowly deteriorate throughout the campaign and now he seems like a shadow of his former self.
Considering the fact the 27-year-old Danish playmaker was omitted from Jose Mourinho’s first ever starting XI at Spurs and with his contract due to expire next summer, his future at the club is still very much unclear.

However, Jose Mourinho, their new coach, recently commented on the matter and proclaimed that Eriksen is indeed committed to the club and their future.
Of course, upon seeing this update from the gaffer himself, many Spurs fans were not sure whether to believe it and they demanded that the player shows it on the pitch.
Some even called him a snake and damaged goods, stating they don’t want him to stay either way.
